About Jordan Waeles

I am Jordan Waeles, 22, I'm a belgian DJ and I'm always keen on playing highly euphoric dance music, commonly called uplifting trance. I play every week on Radio Saffier & LRK, in my own radio show called Trance Mutation Broadcast. You can listen to these radio shows in the Trance Mutation Podcast. Every month, I'm also mixing for NRJ Extravadance, a famous belgian FM radio show. I'm also known for my Trance Mutation mixes, on Digitally Imported.

I am producing music, although nothing has been signed on a label yet. I currently have a few whitelabel releases, like Flashy J - Generate Power and Paradise Troopers - Soulstealers. I like to produce house, trance, and drum&bass, although there are no projects involving drum & bass in my current priorities.

I'm also known as Flashy J, which is my nickname when I'm playing pumping house. I spinned in quite some student parties between 2004 and 2006. Since july 2006, I'm a resident DJ of the Youniversity parties, every other thursday at Le You, a big house club in Brussels.

You can read a lot more about me in my biography.

About this website

This website is meant to give you the opportunity to listen to my work. Therefore, you'll find my tracks, my mixes and a podcast. You can also find some pictures, and a few ways to interact with me, for example by signing my guestbook.

Privacy policy

Because I hate spam so much, I'll never ever spam you. If you sign my guestbook, vote for a track or fill any form on my website involving your email address, you can be sure that it won't be used for any other purpose than what you're actually clicking for. As they say in myspace.com, "I believe my success is in your privacy".

Advertisment

I don't like advertisment either, so you'll never see popups or banners on my website. I earn my money in a more interesting way, and a lot more money than what I could earn with my website.

In fact, I'm spending quite some money to maintain this website, through hosting fees (I'm running my own dedicated server, just for this website and a few sideprojects) and search engine marketing, but I think the lessons I learn are worth doing it. Developing this website is between a game and a secondary job for me; I'm learning, I'm having fun (not all the time, but still enough to do it) and I see that people come and come again on it, so it's really interesting.

However, if you have something to sell that really copes with the topic of my website, maybe we can arrange something, drop me a mail and we'll discuss that.

Copyright

Last but not least, I did every single line of code, and every pixel of this website by myself. As far as I remember, I only took four images from other websites: the dustbin, the paper box and the two iPod images to promote the podcast (I don't even know if these ones will stay). It wasn't even from a layout, but rather online shops. So in my humble opinion, you shouldn't copy anything from this website because it would piss me off a lot.

I spent around two months building this website, making sure it complies with everything on the market, reading tons of tutorials about design and applying what I learned at work, so I guess you can also do it yourself. One year ago, I was convinced that I'll never ever manage to design a website myself. So if you think this is so great that you're going to steal something for your website, spend some time learning how to do it yourself and come up with something original, it always pays off :) Or... pay someone to do it. (I mean, pay someone to do your website, not to steal mine... )
